Right: Addison Witt with celebrity client RJ Mitte (Breaking Bad)
Addison left the Dallas area 20 years ago to pursue an entertainment career in Hollywood. Today with his company WEM, Inc., he is a personal manager and producer, representing actors in film, television and theater, including a string of successful child actors whose careers have spanned a decade. As a TV personality, Addison starred in the first reality series featuring a canine pet agency on Lifetime's Off the Leash.
In addition to managing celebrities and developing new TV shows, Addison is involved in the diversity and disability movements both in Hollywood and in the larger community. With actor client RJ Mitte, who plays a character with CP on AMC's Emmy-winning show Breaking Bad and is a spokesperson for a number of organizations, Addison travels across the country for events supported by PACER, national anti-bullying campaign, National Disability Institute (NDI), and United Cerebral Palsy (UCP). In Los Angeles, they are active in the Media Access Awards, with the RJ Mitte Diversity Award, and I AM PWD, a campaign endorsed by SAG, AFTRA and Actors Equity that advocates for actors with disabilities.
Addison is an NAACP Theater Award nominee, a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia professional music fraternity, and the Alpha Psi Omega national theater fraternity. He is frequently invited to speak on local radio, university panels, Access Hollywood, and talk shows on the business of entertainment. |
| Witt Student Local Success Story: Nicholas Molina | |
A few months ago, 11-year-old Nicholas Molina took two acting classes with Addison Witt, who introduced him to Lynette Linicomn of the Linicomn Talent Agency of Dallas. Because of this first rate training, Nicholas was able to book a job on his second audition--a national commercial. He has also received other prospects, including an opportunity to audition for a new Tyler Perry pilot project. Nicholas is now being managed by Mr. Witt.
