ANNOUNCEMENT: San Antonio - Transwestern's Central Texas region expanded with the addition of five professionals. HOTEL: San Antonio - HFF has closed the sale of The St. Anthony Hotel, a 352-room, historic hotel in San Antonio. BC Lynd purchased the property for an undisclosed amount. The St. Anthony Hotel is located at 300 East Travis Street in downtown San Antonio. Built in 1909, the property is set to undergo a significant renovation and will be re-branded as a Starwood Luxury Collection property. The HFF team representing the seller was led by Bill Stadler and John Bourret.

 

 

 

 

 

 

HOTEL: San Antonio - Canadian investors purchased the 81-room Candlewoood Suites, located at 9502 Amelia Pass in San Antonio. The locally based seller was represented by Gerard R.C. Pastrano, CCIM with Sperry Van Ness/The Pastrano Group.

 

 

 

INDUSTRIAL: Austin - KLD Energy Technologies Inc. leased 30,000 SF at 1611 Headway Circle in Austin. Greg Johnston and Brent Powdrill with Oxford Commercial represented the tenant.

 

 

 

 

INDUSTRIAL: Austin - Kintetsu World Express leased 7,800 SF at MoPac Industrial Park, Bldg. 5 in Austin. Rob Eaves of NAI REOC Austin negotiated the transaction.

 

 

 

 

 

INDUSTRIAL: Pflugerville - Dallas Rail & Mantle leased 6,800 SF of space at 13505 Immanuel Road in Pflugerville. Rob Eaves of NAI REOC Austin negotiated the lease.

 

 

LAND: Pflugerville - NAI REOC Austin assisted in the sale of 42.6 acres on Heatherwilde Blvd. in Pflugerville. The property will be developed as a parochial school operated by the Lutheran School AssociationKurt VanderMeulen and Joyce Jane Weedman with NAI REOC Austin represented the seller, Otello Investment Management. The buyer was represented by Paul Joseph of Paul Joseph Commercial.

 

LAND: Austin - Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has announced the sale of 2631 South Capital of Texas Highway, a 12.267-acre tract of land located in Austin. Greg Gaynor, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Austin office, marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. 

 

 

 

OFFICE: Austin - Endo Pharmaceuticals leased 14,461 SF at 9601 Amberglen Blvd. in Austin. Ted Doucet with Oxford Commercial represented the tenant. Troy Holme and Casey Ford of CBRE represented the landlord, Amber Oaks.

 

 

 

 

OFFICE: Dripping Springs - Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has announced the sale of the Prosperity Bank Building, an 11,344 SF office building located at 721 West Highway 290 in Dripping Springs. Greg Gaynor and Ron Hebert in Marcus & Millichap's Austin and Dallas office marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a real estate investment trust.

 

 

 

 

 

 

RETAIL: Rio Grande Valley - Ranger Retail Partners announced the opening of three Chuck E. Cheese's restaurants in the Rio Grande Valley. CEC Entertainment plans to open in Harlingen, Weslaco and McAllen and each store will be 15,400 SF. Harlingen's Chuck E. Cheese's is under construction and is scheduled to open in September 2012 in Harlingen Corners shopping center near U.S. Hwy 83 and Dixieland Rd. The Chuck E. Cheese's in Weslaco is scheduled to begin construction next. Its location will be near U.S. Hwy 83 and Texas Blvd. at Valley Crossing Shopping Center. McAllen's second Chuck E. Cheese's will be constructed at the NWC of 10th St. and Trenton Rd. in the new Valencia Marketplace.
