ANNOUNCEMENT: Houston - Trammell Crow Company has hired Brandon Houston as a Vice President with the firm's Houston office. He will be responsible for identifying, sourcing and executing development and acquisition opportunities for Class A office projects within the Houston area. Before joining Trammell Crow Company, Houston served as a Vice President with JP Morgan Private Bank.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Houston - Coldwell Banker Commercial United, Realtors announced Mike Chance of Pearland has been chosen as Agent of the Year for 2011 for the Greater Houston area. Chance was announced as Top Sales Agent, Top Leasing Agent, and Top GCI Individual. Chance is Senior Sales Associate with Coldwell Banker Commerce serving as a General Commercial Brokerage Agent.

INDUSTRIAL: Houston - Savoy Technical Services, Inc. leased a 5,400 SF office/warehouse on 20,000 SF of land at 5727 Hogue Street in Houston. David Gerber of Gerber Realty represented the landlord, Mankins Interests. David Savoy, the tenant, represented his company.

OFFICE: Houston - Post Oak Bank has expanded and extended their lease of 31,744 SF at the 2000 West Loop South building, 2000 West Loop South in Houston. Bob Cromwell and Kevin Nolan of Moody Rambin Interests represented the building owner, SRI Nine 2000 WL, L.P. Randy Mason with McAlpine Interests represented the tenant in negotiations.

OFFICE: The Woodlands - Woodland Gate, Inc. has awarded the leasing and property management of their office property at 719 Sawdust Road in Spring to The J. Beard Real Estate Company, LP. The 60,000 SF office building is being marketed by Lisa Hughes of The J. Beard Real Estate Company, LP. The building management is being handled by Scott Hill of The J. Beard Property Management Company, LLC.

OFFICE: Houston - Babcock & Wilcox has leased 15,153 SF at 363 North Belt, 363 N. Sam Houston Parkway in Houston. Sue Rogers and Chadd Bolding of Cresa Houston represented the tenant and Terri Torregrossa of Moody Rambin represented the landlord.

OFFICE: Houston - Parkway Realty Services leased 13,990 SF to Brookfield Global Relocation Services at Honeywell building, located at 1250 W. Sam Houston Parkway in Houston. The tenant was represented by Peter Quinn and Dena Wren of CBRE. 

OFFICE: Houston - Regional District Council Training Trust has leased a 4,800 SF building located at 1511 Upland in Houston. Thomas Leger of The National Realty Group, Inc. represented the tenant. Mike Spears of The National Realty Group, Inc. represented the landlord, Tidwell Real Estate Group, Ltd.  

OFFICE: Houston - Bloomberg has leased 3,937 SF at BG Place, 811 Main Street in Houston. Chuck Goldstein of Cresa Houston represented the client and Tyler Garrett of Hines represented the landlord.

OFFICE: Houston - OMNI Fire and Security Systems, LP has leased 3,200 SF at 600 Kenrick in Houston. Janet Thomas with OAR Realty Partners, LLC represented the tenant. Kathy Shannon of Khoshbin Companies represented the landlord.

RETAIL: Rosenberg - Joan Collum of Orr Commercial represented Michael's Stores, Inc. for a lease of 17,040 SF at Brazos Town Center II in Rosenberg. The tenant is expected to open in the Fall of 2012. Dean Lane of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord, A-S 92 Hwy 59-Reading Road., L.P.
