 ANNOUNCEMENT: Houston - CBRE Group, Inc. has announced that Debbie Wilson, formerly of Crescent, has joined the firm's Houston office as a senior vice president of office leasing. The new hire is a result of CBRE's recent announcement that it will handle all office and retail leasing and property management services for the Central Business District's Houston Center complex. Wilson has been part of the leasing team at the 4.2-million SF Houston Center development since 1986 and will continue to focus her attention in marketing the property.
ANNOUNCEMENT: Houston - NAI Global named Jon Silberman and Griff Bandy of NAI Houston to the NAI Global Elite, a group comprised of the organization's top performers and top producers. Silberman qualified as a Top Producer at the Gold Elite level based on production in 2011. Bandy qualified as a Top Performer at the Elite level based on production in 2011.

 HOTEL: Houston - Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has announced the sale of Econo Lodge Webster, a 111-room hospitality property located at 904 East NASA Road 1 in Houston. Tyler Bean, Rahul Bijlani and Michael Yu in Marcus & Millichap's Houston office marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a bank/financial institution. The buyer, a private investor, was also secured and represented by Yu, Bijlani and Bean.
 HOTEL: Pasadena - Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has announced the sale of Former Holiday Inn Express, a 60-room hospitality property located at 2601 Spencer Highway in Pasadena. Eric Guerrero, Michael Yu and Rahul Bijlani in Marcus & Millichap's Houston office marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a partnership. The buyer, a private investor, was also secured and represented by Tyler Bean, Yu, Bijlani and Guerrero.

 INDUSTRIAL: Houston - Sanita Footwear, LLC has leased 50,000 SF at 4023 Westhollow Parkway in Houston for its U.S headquarters and distribution center. John Kruse and Edward Bane with Holt Lunsford Commercial, Inc. represented the landlord, Cobalt Industrial REIT, III, and Greg Lewis and Adam Williams of Lewis Property Company represented the tenant.
INDUSTRIAL: Houston - Kelbro, Inc. has leased a 19,000 SF warehouse at 7505 Prairie Oak in Houston. The landlord, Capital Commercial Investments, was represented by John Ferruzzo, SIOR, of NAI Houston. Jay Legg of HPI Corporate Services represented the tenant in the transaction.
INDUSTRIAL: Houston - Transcore LP has added an additional 14,000 SF of office/warehouse space to their 2701 W. Sam Houston Pkwy. location. Eric Ramer with ICON Commercial represented Transcore in the expansion. Payton Indermuehle with ICO Commercial represented the landlord, JMS Ventures LP, a private investment partnership. With the expansion Transcore now occupies the entire 55,000 SF Beltway 8 facility.

 OFFICE: Houston - HFF announced that it has closed the sale of The Plaza at Enclave, a 344,295 SF, Class A office building in Houston's energy corridor submarket at 1254 Enclave Parkway in Houston. HFF marketed the property on behalf of the seller, Core Real Estate and BayNorth Capital LLC. An affiliate of Azrieli Group purchased the 100 percent leased property. The HFF investment sales team representing Core Real Estate was led by Dan Miller, Rusty Tamlyn and Trent Agnew.

OFFICE: Houston - Westchase Pharmacy has leased 1,560 SF of office space in The Forum at Westchase, 9701 Richmond in Houston. The landlord, Forum Twenty-Two Enterprises, L.P., was represented by Brian Kaplan, Trey Lipsitz and Sam Hansen of NAI Houston.

RETAIL: Conroe - Mark McGinley of Coldwell Banker Commercial United, Realtors represented Petereit's Conroe Center in the purchase of a 70,000 SF shopping center located at 700 West Davis in Conroe. Charlene Nickson with ACC Realty represented the seller, Conroe Income Investors.
RETAIL: Tomball - Tomball VA LLC acquired three retail buildings located at 1200-1226 West Main Street in Tomball totaling 67,269 SF, previously known as the Klein Supermarket Retail Center. The currently vacant 42,000 SF Klein Supermarket Building will be redeveloped into a Veterans Administration community-based outpatient clinic. Tom Condon, Jr. with Betz Commercial Brokerage, Inc. represented the sellers, 3-K Shopping Center, Inc. and Klein Shopping Center, Inc.
RETAIL: Sugar Land - Tarantino Properties, Inc. announced the lease of the 29,183 SF former gym space at Sugar Point Shopping Center, at Highway 90 and Dairy Ashford, to Dynamic Fitness, II. Dynamic Fitness is in the space for a 10-year term. The gym is set to open in August 2012. Peggy Rougeou and Eric Drymalla represented the landlord in this deal. RETAIL: Houston - NewQuest Properties leased 22,666 SF to Chuck E. Cheese at Westheimer Marketplace located at Westheimer and Dairy Ashford in Houston. David K. Meyers and Bob Conwell represented NewQuest. Geoff Henrion of Ranger Retail Partners represented the tenant.
