House of Reps Meet on Need for Green Cards for Highly Skilled Workers and RNs Before the Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship, Refugees, Border Security, and International Law

The hearing addressed a number of bills set forth in the last month to improve employment-based immigration and to assist with resolving the extreme nursing shortage in the USA. We remain hopeful that some or all of the proposed bills that are under consideration will withstand acceptance through the House committee process, make it through open debate and majority vote so that they can be referred to the Senate to begin the identical process. Legislation must pass in both the House and the Senate before it is sent to the President
