DEPARTMENT OF STATE REVISES JULY 2007 VISA BULLETIN |

In an unprecedented move that was rumored last week, the Department of State has revised its July 2007 Visa Bulletin announcing that there are no longer Visa Numbers available in FY 2007 (10/01/2006 - 09/30/2007). A push in June 2007 to adjudicate 60,000 employment-based cases currently in the pipeline exhausted the visa numbers for the 2007 fiscal year.
Please note that no consular processing of immigrant visas will be acted upon until October 1, 2007, given that one's priority date is earlier than that reflected on the Visa Bulletin at that time.
