hepatitis BIn the current issue of  the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has published updated recommendations for the management of hepatitis B virus (HBV)-infected healthcare providers and students. This report updates the 1991 CDC recommendations for the management of hepatitis B virus (HBV)-infected healthcare providers and students. Click here to access the recommendations.

OSHA  Updates Web Pages For Healthcare And Dentistry

 

The US Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) has recently updated its topic pages for Healthcare and Dentistry. The Healthcare Facilities page is a new page and most of its sections are also new. The Dentistry page has been revised and incorporated into the new Healthcare page.
