Maximizing Your Outreach

An Invitation to become an MIA Way Station

    As a Messianic forerunner you are clearly to be numbered among the few people who understand that Messiah Yeshua's mission was to set in motion the plan that would restore Israel's Kingdom, and thus give our Father the desire of His heart, which is to have a people for His own possession. Since this is the case, our challenge is in knowing how to get His message about Israel's restoration to the rest of the lost sheep of Israel.

    We have the message the lost sheep need to hear! Our challenge is getting it to them!

    We have found that one of the most effective ways to disseminate materials is to promote our "one house" perspective - through a growing vehicle that we call "Way Stations." Way Station outposts serve as outreach posts of the Messianic Israel Alliance (MIA), they are made up of Allies and Friends, and it is a worldwide distribution network. Through various ways and means they offer Messianic Israelite information, such as materials, books, articles, audio and video tapes, CD's, cassettes, and magazines. Some give materials away to interested parties, and sometimes goods are sold to others or offered on a lending library basis.

    Those who head up Way Stations serve as personal contacts for people who have questions about our faith. In the early years (late eighties and nineties) a large portion of Key of David Publishing efforts was to deal with people whose question was, "Is there anyone near me who believes what you are teaching?" Restated, we found that the first thing that most people want is contact with others who also had come to an understanding of their Israelite heritage. This need led to the founding of the MIA, and consequently to Way Stations being the MIA vehicle that helps to meet this important need. And, this need is far from being fully met!

    The fact is that we do not presently have an adequate numbers of Believers that will properly fulfill the following prophecy:

"I will strengthen the house of Judah, And I will save the house of Joseph, And I will bring them back, Because I have had compassion on them; And they will be as though I had not rejected them, For I am the YHVH their God and I will answer them. Ephraim will be like a mighty man, and their heart will be glad as if from wine; Indeed, their children will see it and be glad, Their heart will rejoice in YHVH their God. I will whistle for them to gather them together, For I have redeemed them; And they will be as numerous as they were before, when I scatter them among the peoples. They will remember Me in far countries, and they with their children will live and come back"

(Zec 10:6-9).

Our Father has sworn, saying, "They will remember Me!" He wants His people to remember Him. Helping others to do this should therefore play a key role in the lives of every MIA Ally and Friend. And, an effective, well-stocked Way Stations will serve to help trigger that prophesied "remembrance."

    This means that our first step should be to equip Way Stations, so that we can be ready when the Father brings people our way. To be successful, a McDonald franchise has to have supplies of burgers and fries on hand when people visit the Golden Arches. Likewise when spiritually hungry people come our way, we want to be able to fill them with solidly Scriptural answers to their questions.

    We are thankful that you are a member of this chosen group of forerunners that our Father has selected to accomplish this awesome task of having His people remember Him!

What is a Way Station?

    Way Stations are distribution points equipped with the resources and materials needed to properly prepare those who are returning from the graves of the nations, so that they might take their destined place in Yahveh's mighty end-time army.

Why do we need Way Stations?

    Messianic Israel's biggest problem is distribution of critical information. At this time, the normal Christian and Jewish "spiritual feeding system" is composed of bookstores and church and synagogue systems. But most of these do not carry the materials necessary to feed a reuniting Ephraim and Judah. And, this crucial remnant needs to be fed the truth if they are to realize their heritage and purpose. So, while we may gain a future foothold in this system, for now, we need to establish our own distribution system. Having these materials readily available is essential. With our current "McDonald's mentality" - people tend to "want it now!" They do not want to have to wait to get something in the mail! They would rather drive an hour and get it today! This is especially true when they understand that they will also be able to meet and talk to other Messianic Israel forerunners that have an understanding of their heritage and purpose.

Where are Way Stations located?

    MIA Way Stations are currently being developed all over the world. MIA Allies and Friends (congregations, synagogues, fellowships, ministries, cell groups and even some families and individuals) are establishing Way Stations as points of contact to provide information and materials. Listings in the MIA Directory which include a WS image are Way Stations.

Who can become a Way Station?

    MIA Allies and Friends are eligible, and are encouraged, to become Way Stations.

How can you become a Way Station?

    By maintaining a supply of MIA Heralds, CD's, DVD's, and Key of David Publishing books, audio and video CD's and DVD's, and additionally materials that you prepare.

    From the Key of David Publishing aspect we recommend an inventory sufficient to stock an effective lending library and to meet purchase requests. As a Way Station you will receive a 40% discount from the single copy price of books, audio and video CD's and DVD's and other Key of David Publishing items.

    Way Stations in essence are storehouses that provide the materials necessary to feed an emerging army. The library is a key component of this storehouse, and it is a feature that we will emphasis in our upcoming campaign promotion of Way Stations. The library will attract people to your present congregation or fellowship, or give you the people that will enable you to establish a fellowship.

    The library should contain several copies of each book, especially the audio books. It should also have copies of past MIA Heralds and CD's from MIA conferences.

The Internet Directory of MIA Affiliates indicates with a WS image which congregations, fellowships, etc., are maintaining a storehouse where the hungry can go and be fed a full and balanced diet with the manna necessary to feed our emerging army.

    We are working on having our books downloadable to the Amazon Kindle, and other tablets and devices.

The Present

It in essence is turning Way Stations into recruiting stations, which is a primary function of every congregation, synagogue, fellowship, ministry, family, and individual.
