| Worcester Business Journal Honors Barsoum as Local Business Leader
Divine Kitchens owner, Mariette Barsoum, was honored as one of the area's best young business leaders. Distinguished as one of Worcester Business Journal's 40 Under 40 winners, Barsoum was recognized as part of the publication's 9th Annual Awards Ceremony in September.
According to the editors, " Our honorees come from diverse fields and backgrounds. Some were born and raised in Worcester, while one was born in Egypt. The list includes leaders from the high-tech, education, nonprofit, consulting, legal and retail sectors."
"I'm honored to be featured in such a wonderful group of business minds," said Barsoum, who turned 30 this year. "The success of Divine Kitchens has really been a dream come true and I love the challenge of making each job the best we've ever designed and built."

Barsoum Profiled in Metrowest Magazine
Mariette Barsoum has designed more than 100 kitchens and baths in Divine Kitchen's relatively short history. Her global worldview, coupled with her passion for design, has allowed her to create spaces that reflect a wide variety of styles and this is what captured the imagination of the publishers of Metrowest Magazine in the issue that is about to hit 40,000 mailboxes in Framingham, Needham, Wellesley and Natick. The article, which starts on page 32, features photographs of Divine's modern, old-world and New England kitchens, as well as several bath projects.

Dramatic Newton Before/After Kitchen Featured in Woman's Day Kitchens & Baths
Divine Kitchens' dramatic kitchen makeovers have really captured the attention of the editors at Woman's Day Kitchens & Baths this year.
"Designing the kitchen for Michael Dworman and Leif Ellisen was particularly exciting," said designer Mariette Barsoum. "We took several small, cramped, very outdated spaces in this 1912 Arts and Crafts house and unified them into a bright, gracious, livable kitchen. I'm very proud of this job and the fact that Woman's Day wanted to feature it."
