Monthly Safety Leadership Message
Constructing new plants and facilities brings new MWs online, but also brings some of the most hazardous activities we undertake at AES. In 2016, two of our construction sites have had tragic incidents. There was a fatality at our OPGC II construction project in India and I am saddened to let you know that a second fatality occurred at Eagle Valley, our construction project in Martinsville, Indianapolis on March 2. Based on the facts known to date, I wanted to share more about what happened at Eagle Valley, and what our subsidiaries are doing to strengthen our safety culture and practices.
