Attacking new challenges and growing the business

Our mission is what ties us all together. Whether you're in Chile or Kazakhstan, we're all working to improve lives by providing safe, reliable and sustainable energy solutions. Mandy Goubeaux, Commercial Director with AES Energy Storage, has been improving lives with AES since her first internship with Dayton Power and Light (DPL), part of the US SBU. Mandy, who studied mechanical engineering in college, held various roles of increasing responsibility with DPL from constructing gas turbine power plants, to plant manager of 1200 MW at four peaking plants, to implementing Asset Management and Investment Planning practices. With the creation of the US SBU, Mandy moved to the US commercial team leading strategic projects. At AES, we receive 70% of our professional development from experiences and Mandy certainly had her share of experiences with DPL and the US SBU. Last fall, Mandy joined the AES Energy Storage team. With a successful career in the US SBU, why did she transition to the Energy Storage team in a fairly new role for the organization?

The team also celebrated important safety milestones achieved by the businesses within the SBU along with recognizing the Safety and Environmental Champions, who work as ambassadors to help keep AES Brazil an incident-free workplace.
