COMMUNITY MATTERS

Shady Point helps raise funds to pave coal mine haul road

At AES, improving lives and making a lasting difference in the communities in which our businesses operate is our mission and a core part of our Values. AES Shady Point, a generation business in the US Strategic Business Unit (SBU), helped improve their local community by assisting to pave a local road. When state and county funds weren't available to help eliminate a problem for residents living on a dirt-gravel LeFlore County road, AES Shady Point stepped up to help find $20,000 to pave the road.
