A message from Elizabeth Hackenson: Innovating our Success
We can all innovate every day by challenging the status quo when we see an opportunity, and by adopting great ideas that have been implemented both inside and outside of AES. We recognize and celebrate this type of innovation through the Congress on Innovation, Operational Excellence and Sustainable Practices or what we plan to call the Innovation Congress going forward. Held every two years, the Congress helps us to identify projects that have been implemented at a business or location in support of our mission and to share those ideas with the potential for broader impact and replication across AES' businesses.

MCAC Roadshow 2014: Building one culture across 5 countries
Five flags of the Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean (MCAC) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) joined together in one color to form strategic ties that would give way to celebrate the MCAC Culture Roadshow. From July 14-16, 2014, 85 participants from all areas of the SBU met in Panama to define a clear and concise strategy that allows the SBU, and AES, to go take it to the next level, by communicating in the same language, identifying common needs, recognizing individual weaknesses and, as a business, working to define the steps in a timely and proactive manner.
