 AES recently took another step to help address the growing need for energy in in Jordan, part of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). On Wednesday, AES inaugurated the Al Manakher power station (IPP4).

AES promotes LNG and energy storage solutions for Panama and the Caribbean

 

Miguel Bolinaga, Market Business Leader in Panama, and Malaquias Encarnacion, Business Development Director of Energy Storage in Latin America and the Caribbean, recently shared how AES can contribute to the LNG and energy storage markets in Panama.

Kumar Hewage is Always On for Safety 

 

Kumar is a Shift Charge Engineer at Kelanitissa, a plant in Sri Lanka which is part of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). He joined AES 12 years ago and currently serves as a primary member of the local Safety Committee. He was recently identified as the safety person of the year and was nominated to be a Safety Champion in 2014. He never hesitates to talk about safety when he has the opportunity.
