AES Brazil receives sustainability award  

 

AES Brazil recently received the Top Sustainability Award, given on an annual basis by the Brazilian Association of Sales and Marketing Managers. Brazil was one of 12 companies that received the award in the Outstanding Long-term Achievements category. 
ALWAYS ON FOR SAFETY
IPL, DP&L work together to improve contractor Safety

 

At AES, we're Always On for Safety whether we're on the job, at home or in the community. Indianapolis Power & Light Company (IPL) and Dayton Power & Light (DP&L), two utility businesses in the US Strategic Business Unit (SBU), worked together to develop a training program called "Electric 101" for a Dayton line clearance contractor, providing additional training to keep its workers safe.

Rodrigo Mai is Always On for Safety


Being Always On is having a constant mindset of putting safety first. When we are Always On, we are looking out for ourselves, our team members and our family. Rodrigo Mai, an AES Eletropaulo meter reader, looked out for his community while working during the 2014 World Cup season in Brazil.

AES Elsta bikes for Charity 

  

At AES, improving lives and making a lasting difference in the communities in which our businesses operate is a core part of our Values and mission. Our people working at AES Elsta, a generation facility in the Netherlands, recently brought our Values and mission to life.  The team, part of the part of the Europe, Middle East and Africa, Strategic Business Unit (SBU), participated in a charity bike ride to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.
