Greetings!
Do you want to ask a member of AES' Executive Leadership Team (ELT) a question, but don't know how to do it? You can submit questions using Ask the ELT, an easy to use online feedback form. You can choose to provide your contact information, or you can submit your feedback anonymously. Each month, the AES Spotlight will highlight the ELT's answer to the questions received.
AES Communications |
This year we will celebrate our 13th annual safety day on May 28. AES businesses and locations around the world will dedicate time to reflect on our first value, safety. While our events will vary, all of AES shares one set of safety beliefs. One of those beliefs is that all incidents are preventable. We know that accidents happen, but occupational incidents are caused by bad habits and actions people take. Always doing things the right way, the safe way, is simply a really good habit. The more it is practiced, the easier it becomes. At AES, we call this Always On.

IPL call center manager comes to rescue with Heimlich Maneuver
Safety is the top priority for all AES people and contractors, and it is our most important value across our culture, businesses and daily operations. Our goal is to have every person go home healthy and safe at the end of each work day. Thanks to proper training and fast action, Angela Medoza, call center manager at IPL, a distribution business in the US Strategic Business Unit, she was able to use the Heimlich maneuver to help a fellow co-worker who was choking on jelly bean.
