Stop Work Authority in Action: AES Huntington Beach
We want all of our people and contractors to go home safely at the end of each workday. We can achieve this by creating a workplace free of incidents at AES. A contractor team from Total-Western, a California company specializing in providing maintenance services to refinery, power and industrial clients, recently used its Stop Work Authority to halt a job at AES Huntington Beach.

DPL's "Secure the Sale" project takes second at the APEX Global Awards
Each year, we recognize the best continuous improvement projects across our company through our APEX Global Awards Event. This year, DPL, part of the US SBU, led by Mandy Goubeaux, took first second place for their project, Secure the Sale. In the state of Ohio, customers can choose their electric supplier. An APEX team was formed to address customer loss and to protect or "secure" our sales.

AES Puerto Rico receives Global Insurance Risk Engineering Award
AES Puerto Rico's LP Plant and its management team are being recognized for their dedication to Risk Engineering and continued Risk Improvement.
