At AES, our jobs challenge us to improve and innovate. AES Performance Excellence (APEX) is our internal continuous improvement program with a set of consistent, common tools and methodologies that we use to help us solve business issues or problems in a consistent way. Each year, we recognize the best APEX projects across the company through our Global Awards Event. This year we have 15 projects, across all six Strategic Business Units, competing. The winners will be announced in early February.

DP&L helping to bring economic investment to area

Improving lives and making a lasting difference in the communities in which our businesses operate is a core part of our values and mission. AES people working at Dayton Power & Light (DPL), utility business in the US Strategic Business unit, are doing their part to strengthen the local economy. A deal three years in the making is transforming the Dayton area, and DP&L is in the middle of the efforts to revitalize the region's economy.

AES Brazil's litigation team recognized by Latin American Counsel Awards

At AES, it's the energy of our people that power our success. Our people in Brazil are being recognized for their world class talent. AES Brazil's litigation team was awarded the Litigation Award, sponsored by the International Law Office Latin American Counsel Awards.

The team will accept the award at the awards gala on March 20.

AES El Salvador partners with Gear Up Foundation to donate new equipment to local fire department

AES El Salvador, part of the Mexico, Caribbean & Central America Strategic Business, recently partnered with the Gear Up Foundation to present a donation of special rescue vehicles and protective equipment valued at US $170K to a local fire department in El Salvador.
