BEHIND THE MWs

Cybersecurity: 'Spear phisher' strikes target at Redondo Beach

Our Chief Information Officer, Elizabeth Hackenson, has been sharing tips for keeping you and AES safe from phishing attacks. Phishing is an effort to acquire information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy person using an electronic communication. Spear phishing differs from phishing in that spear phishing is directed at one particular group or person. Recently, an incident at AES Redondo Beach shows just how real these attacks are and the importance about remaining vigilant.
SAFETY IS OUR WAY OF LIFE

Video: AES Northern Ireland teaches youth about electricity generation

AES Northern Ireland, part of the Europe, Middle East and Africa Strategic Business Unit, recently partnered withCinemagic, a non-profit young person's film company, to create a short, educational film about electricity generation. The film documents the experiences the children had during their visit, and how they interacted with AES people.
