LEADERSHIP MATTERS

COO Safety Message from Andy Vesey

In 2009, we conducted a safety perception survey (SPS) to measure the strength of our safety culture and put in place a safety action plan to become world class in safety. Earlier this year, we assessed the progress we've made through a companywide SPS. Andy shares what we learned about our safety culture and how we can make it even stronger.

CIO Cybersecurity Message from Elizabeth Hackenson

Cybercriminals send over 500 million phishing emails every day. Gone are the days of the easy to spot, poorly disguised "I am in trouble, please send money" spam messages.  The phishing messages of today are so thoughtful and appear to be so authentic that it is becoming increasingly difficult to determine whether messages are phony or from an authorized source. Elizabeth talks about what you can do to prevent phishing attacks.

TOOLS YOU CAN USE

At AES, safety is our way of life and it starts with each AES person. There are a number of tools each of us can use to make sure everyone goes home each night to their families. Those tools include using a Stop Work Authority. If we see something unsafe or think something might be unsafe we have the right and the obligation to stop the work being done or about to be done.
