According to Andrés Gluski, AES President and CEO, "We had a solid second quarter, despite facing significant headwinds in Latin America as a result of some of the driest hydrological conditions in many decades. DPL Energy Resources Celebrate Their Success with a Team Photo
Imagine trying to get more than 100 people into the same photo. That was the task for photographer Andy Snow when he was asked to shoot a photo of DPL Energy Resources employees to celebrate having recently been ranked the "Highest in Residential Customer Satisfaction with Retail Electric Service in Ohio" in a study conducted by J.D. Power.

Travel Alert Issued
A number of western governments, including US, UK, France and Germany have increased security controls at diplomatic facilities, Embassies and critical business locations following a worldwide terrorist alert. The alert is precautionary and in response to credible threats of attacks, but does not represent an imminent threat to people. The alert is "HIGH" for North Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, South America and the US. If you're currently on international travel or planning trips through August 13, there are some important guidelines that should be followed.

AES Board Member Nominated as US Commissioner of Internal Revenue
AES board member John Koskinen has been nominated by the White House to be the US Commissioner of Internal Revenue. He would replace Douglas H. Shulman, the last confirmed IRS Commissioner, who served from 2008 through Nov. 9, 2012.
