Board Update - Coming Soon to a Mailbox Near You - Starting in September, FPA members will begin receiving a new-and-improved version of the regional newsletter, The Planner. Members will receive a hard copy newsletter quarterly. Monthly, members will receive a regional calendar of events electronically. We hope you enjoy the new look and feel of the newsletter. As always, we welcome your comments and feedback.
- Volunteers Needed for 4th Annual Financial Planning Day
Scheduled for October 19th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at UC Hastings, this event will feature planners who are interested in providing one-on-one counseling to individuals and families, many of whom have never had the opportunity to meet with a planner before. Financial planners who either hold the CFP® certification or are members of the FPA are eligible to volunteer. For volunteer registration, please visit: www.financialplanningdays.org/SanFranciscoVolunteer Logistics volunteers are also needed the day of to help ensure that the event runs smoothly. Logistics volunteers may be asked to help at the registration table or help direct traffic in the "Ask-a-Planner" section. If interested, please contact Holly Wilkerson at info@fpasf.org.
