Bring your favorite "picnic" food for an indoor picnic as we enjoy a demonstration from Patriot Rovers, an organization that rescues and trains psychiatric service dogs as companions for NC combat veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Returning Pastor Jay
If you took a flat Pastor Jay's face on vacation, please return him to the church office so other members can invite him along on their vacations.
Food Pantry
We have had an increase in requests for assistance this summer. Please help us stock the pantry with canned meats, tuna, canned pastas, canned fruit, oatmeal and peanut butter. You may bring your donations by on Sunday or during the week Monday through Thursday to the church office.
JPC Grasshoppers
Concession Signups
We are in immediate need of workers for Wednesday, July 17th and Saturday, July 20th games. If this is your first time, the Wednesday game would be a great time to come out and work the stand. Saturday night is always busy so we need lots of volunteers. Please go to the JPC website www.2jpc.org to sign up or contact Kim Schoepske at dbschoepske5@yahoo.com. We also have some other dates available in August that you can check out on the website.

Girls Night Out
Girls Night Out welcomes all women to its July event: a day of white water rafting, canoeing, and/or zip lining at the U.S. National Whitewater Center in Charlotte. Plan to join us for a full day of fellowship and INCREDIBLE fun as we head down together on
July 21, meeting at the church at 7:00 am for a mini sunrise service and then heading off to Charlotte together. Back by 5:00 pm. Cost ranges from $44-$54, depending on the activities you choose.
