Sunday, March 17th:

Pennies for Hunger:
This Sunday is third Sunday - the Sunday that we collect money for the Pennies for Hunger program. Two cents may seem like an insignificant amount of money, but it is your two cents a meal and that of others in Salem Presbytery that have enabled us to assist the hungry both here and all around the world. Thank you for the role you play by actively participating in this ministry and mission.

Easter Food Boxes:
Please bring the following on this Sunday to help us prepare for the Easter Food Boxes that will be given out to local families during the Easter Holiday.

Sunday, March 17: Corn, sweet potatoes, and soup.

North Carolina Harp Emsemble:

The North Carolina Harp Ensemble will present an evening of harp music for the Piedmont Artists Concert Series on Sunday, March 17th, at 4:00 p.m. at Jamestown Presbyterian Church. The program will feature ten accomplished student and professional harpists performing a delightful blend of classical and modern works for harp, with a few Irish melodies for a festive flair. The ensemble is directed by Jacquelyn Bartlett, Professor of Harp at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Appalachian State University, and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Please join us for this wonderful evening of harp music on St. Patrick's Day! For more information on the Ensemble, please visit: www.ncharpensemble.com.

Girls Night Out Scavenger Hunt:
All ladies are invited to join us for a Scavenger Hunt from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  Since all the kids will soon be enjoying Easter Egg Hunts, we thought it'd be fun to have our own hunt!  And it will be loads of fun, so plan to join us!  We'll meet at the church, and there will be two teams in two different cars but only 1 prize!  Plan to come and get to know your fellow girlfriends a LOT better.
