The local community section features some opportunities to hear live jazz in honor of Jazz Appreciation Month, in addition to a special "Peace Concert" by the Norwalk Symphony.

Priority Pre-Registration for Fall

 

Current students will have the opportunity in May to reserve their preferred day, time and teacher for the fall.
 
After the pre-registration period, spots will be opened to the general public, so we recommend pre-registering before teacher schedules fill up.
  
Week 1: May 13th-18th
  
Pre-registration for students who would like to keep their current day and time.
  
Week 2: May 20th-25th
  
Pre-registration for students who would like to change their day and time.
       
Pay-in-Full Option:

If you'd like to pay the school year in full, we'll waive the $45 Activities Fee AND give you a 5% discount on tuition!
  
How to Pre-Register:

 

1. Fill out an electronic form in advance. 
  
This will be sent via email next week and will help us gather information to expedite the process.

 

2. Stop by the front desk during the appropriate week. 
  
When you come for your lesson that week, we will have your paperwork prepared for you to simply review & sign.
  
3. Pay the non-refundable Activities Fee* for the 2013-2014 school year.  
  
We will charge this $45 annual fee to your account to finalize your registration and reserve your time slot.
  
*Simply Music Rhapsody & Play-a-Story Students: 
In lieu of the Activities Fee, a non-refundable $45 deposit will be assessed and applied to your September tuition.

Annual Spring Recital 

 

Our First-Annual Spring Recital will be held the afternoon of Saturday, June 15th in the lovely auditorium of the Pequot Library in Southport.
 
To accomodate our large number of students, we will have three different recitals that day (times TBA). Feel free to invite friends & family to this wonderful event! 
 
We expect that the majority of our students will be performing. If you cannot participate, please let us know as soon as possible, otherwise your teacher will assume that you will be performing.

Jazz Pianist

WCSU Jazz Fest
April 25th-27th
Western CT State University
 
The Eighteenth Annual WCSU Jazz Fest will be held from April 25th through April 27th at Western CT State University in Danbury.

All proceeds will benefit the My Sandy Hook Family Fund.

Norwalk Symphony Orchestra 
A Peace Concert
Saturday, May 4th - 8:00 pm
Norwalk Concert Hall

From the NSO:
"A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the Child Guidance Center of Mid-Fairfield County as our attempt to respond to the Newtown tragedy.
 
On the program will be the Faure Requiem with a consortium of choristers led by the choir of Christ and Holy Trinity Church, Westport. Also on the program is the Brahms Violin Concerto with internationally renowned violinist Ryu Goto."
