I sit here contemplating what message to send to you this month.  I'm baffled.  I stare at the paper and nothing comes to mind.  Then all sorts of ideas pop in at once, but none seem to stick.  My mind wanders...and I start thinking of everything else but this message.  CONCENTRATE!  I tell myself.  Then the phone rings.  Really?  Ok, back to concentrating.  Ding!  Another reminder pops in my head that I needed to confirm an appointment I have later that day.  Yes, derailed again.  Will I ever get to writing this?

I'm sure this scenario is all too familiar with all of us.  We are a group of creative people who need time to concentrate.  Time to clear our own minds of everything else so that we can be of great service to our clients.  Unfortunately we don't always do that, especially this time of year when spring has sprung and we all start to focus on cleaning the environment around us, but not within us.  Daylight is at a premium and we want to do so much while we have light. 

Let's take a different approach this year.  Let's absorb that light into ourselves and refresh and renew our spirits.  Let's take time to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.  Empty our minds of clutter and open them to new sights and sounds.  I know that is what I am going to do and I know some awesome opportunities to do just that.   Our Summer Solstice in the Park is just a month away and at prime time to capture the daylight hours while relaxing and having fun.  We are going to continue that spirit as we close out the year with grand celebration at the Awards Gala.  Won't you join me?
