President's Message
A Change in the Air
The cold snap in the air is a sign of the season's change and the change of ASID Ohio North Chapter's fiscal year. On October 1st, a new year begins for the chapter and with that the promise of new partnerships and opportunities. Like most of us, business conditions are steady with limited time for extras like ASID or other professional development opportunities. Even when time is limited, my design friends and colleagues are invaluable to me for business advice or design inspiration. As a member of ASID Ohio North Chapter, I truly embrace the events and comradery which comes from belonging to our professional organization. Working with this year's board has been an inspiration to me. I thank them for their time and talents in reaching our goals as an organization: President Elect - Bonnie Cox, ASID
At-Large Director - Ashleigh Clark, Allied ASID
Communications Director - Sean Carter, Allied ASID
Financial Director - Terra Cozzens, ASID
Membership Director - Jillian Gerbasi, Allied ASID
Professional Development Director - Lisa Perfetto, Industry Partner Rep
Student Rep to the Board - Carolyn Joyce, Student ASID
At our Annual Meeting, we will welcome our new colleagues to the board for 2015-2016:
President - Bonnie Cox, ASID

Membership Director - Jillian Gerbasi, Allied ASID
Professional Development Director - Lisa Morton, Allied ASID
Student Rep to the Board - Wendy Long, Student ASID
The chapter will host our Annual Meeting this year at the 78th Street Studios on September 17th, showcasing the exhibitors of the Art Wine + Design event and inducting our new board members. The event will begin in a private gallery of Rob Hartshorn's where he will discuss the partnerships with artists and designers. Then we will proceed upstairs to enjoy the design and art vignettes of Art Wine + Design. Lastly, we will be reviewing the year's events and toasting chapter volunteers. Don't miss out on the fun of reconnecting with your design colleagues, industry partners, and getting inspired by the design vignettes. Click here for additional information and registration form. It is this participation from all of our members including designers, industry partners and students that is the key to our success.
