Get Outdoors!
Have you ever wished for a map complete with all the trails in Shawnee County including Parks + Rec Trails, Governor's Mansion, Illif Commons and others? There is now a comprehensive resource with both trails and outdoors events...it is called Get Outdoors Kansas! Based on Get Outdoors Colorado this tool was just recently introduced to all of Kansas.
GetOutdoorsKansas is the place for any organization to post their activity, or for someone to find that activity for free no matter what the interest or skill level. It's where the urban and traditional outdoors man meet. On GetOutdoorsKansas, kayaking on the Kansas River can be found next to a downtown festival, or free sailing classes next to a community garden event. GetOutdoorsKansas makes it easy to find a new audience and for the new audience to request email reminders and notifications about specific upcoming activities.
Explore events and activities here. Find the many trails here. And sign up to be a contributing partner here. (It is easy and free!)
