Topeka Public Art Project Receives International Recognition. When Topeka Dreams Together, We All Win!

The "I GO NOTO" banner project, designed by Bloomerang Studios, won the merit award in the Collaboration Category of the CODAvideo Awards. The recognition was given by the online public arts community, CodaWorx. In the last few years, the project has also been highlighted in the New York Times and in a Microsoft Bing-it-On Commercial.
"Creating a 'positive image' community focused on quality of life can only be achieved through partnerships," said John Hunter, Executive Director for Heartland Visioning. Topeka Gives (More!)
Topeka Gives Charitable Giving Event set for June 7, 2016 'Match Money' Grows

The Topeka Community Foundation announced the widely popular "Topeka Gives" event is returning for a fourth year! It will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 inside Fairlawn Plaza Mall, with $68,000.00 provided in matching funds. Area donors and businesses, seeing the impact of this event on the community, have made contributions toward the pool of funds used as "match money."

"We hope in 2016 people will again join us and not only contribute to the causes they care about but learn more about the organizations in our community that provide outstanding programs and services for our neighbors, friends and families." - Marsha Pope, Vice President Topeka Community Foundation.

Nonprofit organizations which were not part of previous Topeka Gives events but would like to participate in 2016 should contact the Topeka Community Foundation. Mandatory informational meetings to provide event details will be hosted in January.
