The Buzz: HCC's Weekly Student News  September 9, 2016
moneybag_graphic.jpg What Do You Know About Your Student Loans?

Hello, Henderson Student!
Did you borrow (or have you borrowed) money to go to HCC? Do you understand your personal liabilities/ responsibilities regarding those loans? Here are a few things you should know:

If you drop below six hours of enrollment, leave HCC or graduate, you have a short "grace period" before you have to start repaying your loan(s).

You must make your full loan repayment on time, either once a month or on whatever schedule you made with the provider. If you don't you could go into default, which is very serious.

Have questions about your loans? Check in with the Financial Aid office for information. You can also find information online at https://studentaid.ed.gov/repay-loans.

Regards,

Keith Sayles, MBA
Chief Student Officer | STC 210
