Looking to meet new people? Want to get involved and have fun while doing so? Interested in building your resume? Check out the Student Organization Fair next week on August 24th during the Back-to-School cookout from 11:30 a.m. to
1 p.m.! Come and visit the tables representing student organizations on campus as well as visit with some transfer representatives. Grab some information, speak with a member of the club and enjoy the opportunity to get to know more about your campus community.

Resources for Success: TUTORING!
Open Math Lab Every Friday in STC 202 from 10 am to 2 pm. 

Writing Center: Need help with a writing assignment for history, psychology, nursing, art history, sociology, interpersonal communication, literature, First-Year Experience, or any other class--even Writing I or Writing II? If so, drop by the HCC Writing Center in ADM 205. Hours are 9 am to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday. Fridays are by appointment only. If you are currently enrolled at HCC you are pre-registered and need to set up a password to access and take advantage of this great service. You should have received an email about completing the registration using your 9 digit Student ID number as your User ID and create at least a 10 digit character password.

Duncan's Grill is open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 2 pm. Lots of food items available, from breakfast to lunch to delicious snacks!

The Fitness Center is in the lower level of the Student Center. The Fitness Room includes treadmills, exercise bikes, and more to promote a healthier lifestyle among HCC's students and staff.

And don't forget--across the hall is a room for stretching and yoga! Fitness Room hours are 6 a.m.- 9 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is no charge to use the facility.
 
The Student Center also features The Game Room with various activities available-stop by and enjoy a game with your friends.
 
TOBACCO-FREE CAMPUS
HCC is a Tobacco-Free campus, including cigarettes, e-cigs, snuff, and more. Need help with smoking cessation classes? Contact Methodist Hospital at (270) 827-7114. Many other resources are available by scrolling down the HCC Wellness website

FREE MICROSOFT PRODUCTS!

Anyone with a valid KCTCS account (that includes you!)
is eligible to install the full version of Office 2016 Pro Plus (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Skype) on up to 5 devices for free. The Henderson Emergency Management Agency is offering FREE training to those who want to respond to local disaster situations. Training begins September 15 from 6 to 9 pm and continue every Thursday. The training sessions conclude with a final exercise and graduation on Saturday November 12
at 8 am.
