Community Education
Henderson Community College is holding a beginning class to teach the basics of communicating in American Sign Language (ASL) and to assist individuals to gain an understanding of Deaf culture. This is a level one course for beginners and for people who may know some signs but have not had training in grammar or linguistics. Topics covered include the alphabet, finger spelling, greetings, family and friends, colors, numbers, sentence structure, as well as Deaf culture and history.
  
This course meets every Tuesday from 4-5:30 pm starting July 12 and ending September 13, 2016. The class is limited to first 15 who enroll and cost is $75.00/person. lifestyle among HCC's
students and staff.

Fitness Room hours are
6 am to 9 pm, Monday through Thursday. There is no charge to use the facility.
