Mock Active Shooter Drill This Friday

Henderson Community College is holding a mock active shooter drill with the Henderson Police this Friday, November 21, between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. The professional development is confined to the Sullivan Technology Center. No ambulances or fire trucks will be on campus. The building will be closed to the public and limited services will be available across the campus during that time period so that faculty and staff may participate in the drill. Thanks to our Benefactors

KCTCS recently hosted the President's Gala and Benefactors' Awards Dinner. HCC and the College Foundation recognized Dr. Arlene and David Alexander and Union County Fiscal Court as benefactors of the year in support of HCC students. Dr. Arlene and David Alexander have greatly supported HCC through their generous contributions of time and resources to the Rotary Colonels to College scholarship program. Union County Fiscal Court was recognized for its support of the Braves 2 College campaign with their large pledge to the scholarship program. County Judge Executive Jody Jenkins accepted the award on behalf of the county. I am grateful for the generosity of both honorees. The event included an awards ceremony and a video look at the history of KCTCS and Dr. McCall's impact on the System and state.
