 2014-15: Transcripts Review
2014-15 was another great year for askON! As in previous years, most of our visitors were full-time students (84%). The scope of our reference questions ranged widely, from questions about student cards (16%) and other technical issues (12%), to those about library policies and operation (11%). With almost half of the questions we received, most of the help we gave was for research and assignment support (46%), such as helping students find the best databases for their subject, and helping them to construct appropriate search strategies. Congratulations to everyone on another great year!

 Platform Migration Update

Although service continues with the LivePerson platform over the summer, migration to the new LibraryH3lp platform has already begun! Training sessions have been running smoothly, and the Transition Task Force is happy with the progress we've made so far.
With our new LibraryH3lp platform, askON is very excited to launch our new askON TEXT service alongside our chat service. Our new platform also means all of the various askON bits and pieces from the staff portal and chat service are brought together in one web-based console. Look in the sidebar of this newsletter for upcoming training sessions.
