Out and Proud Week Call for Programs
Out and Proud Week presents the largest opportunity for community visibility on the UC San Diego campus. It is a week-long opportunity, to be in community, learn about the community, and a time to reflect on the struggles and achievements of LGBTQIA-identified students, staff, and faculty and our allies. It is also a time for public awareness and discussion of current LGBT issues on our campus, as well as local, state and national levels. The LGBT Resource Center is doing a call out for programs, events, educational opportunities, and gatherings that represent the mission of Out and Proud Week. Out and Proud week will take place April 21-25

Fluid Sexuality Group

This group is an open dialogue and supportive space for those who identify with bisexual, fluid, pansexual, queer and questioning experiences. FAQ: A Salon Series in Feminist and Queer of Color Critique Graduate Student Conference
Conference Dates: May 2-3, 2014
UCSD is pleased to announce an inaugural graduate student conference in feminist and queer of color critique, which will take place May 2-3, 2014. The conference seeks to open dialogue about the intersections of women of color feminism and queer of color critique. Graduate students from UCSD and elsewhere are invited to participate in our two day conference, with a keynote and a closing musical performance. We are honored to have Professor Sharon Holland from Duke University as our keynote speaker.

Preuss School UCSD's Annual Application Reading
now till Friday, March 14
The Preuss School UCSD is a unique charter middle and high school for low income, highly motivated students who strive to become the first in their families to graduate from college. Each year, community members help score the applications of interested applicants and The Preuss School then uses these scores to provide better support to incoming students.
We are currently looking for Community Members to help read and score the applications for the Fall 2014 Admission. Lunch will be provided for those who sign-up.

Join us for our first ReadOut event of 2014! In honor of Women's History Month, we will be celebrating queer Chicana life and literature with readings, book signings, and a queer Chicana book fair. Two incredible Chicana lesbian novelists, CARLA TRUJILLO and FELICIA LUNA LEMUS, come together in an intergenerational dialogue that highlights Chicana lesbian contributions to arts and literature. In seek of Volunteers!
A small local non profit, Live and Let Live Alano Club, has been serving the LGBT community for over 30 years. The Board of Directors is seeking LGBT student interns that want to serve their community while working on projects that may be meaningful to their academic disciplines. We are a volunteer run organization. We have a small paid staff and an annual budget of $110,000.00. We serve over 40,000 participants each year at our facility in Normal Heights.
