FALL Q CAMP 2012
September 26 | 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
LGBT Resource Center

The UC San Diego LGBT Resource Center would like to invite students both new and returning to Q Camp 2012: an orientation to the UC San Diego Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender community! At Q Camp, we offer a day of activities, introductions, and information so that other LGBT-identified students and allies are able to meet one another, build community, and create connections across the University. This also offers students opportunities to connect with faculty and staff in smaller groups, as well as become more familiar with the resources available on campus and in the LGBT Resource Center.
We encourage you to register for the Fall 2012 Q Camp using this form. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at rainbow@ucsd.edu. We hope to see you there!

"We have to be dedicated not only to institutional change, but also to transforming our interpersonal dynamics. We cannot allow the fear of not being liked to prevent us from setting boundaries as a community. To me, there is a big difference between kindness and niceness. More often than not, "being nice" (which is not necessarily about being genuine) tends to lead to passive-aggressive behavior and unhealthy repression, and ultimately can undermine what is required to build a community that loves and protects all of its members."

Q Fair 2012
Table at Q Fair 2012
The UC San Diego LGBT Resource Center would like to invite departments and organizations throughout the UCSD community to table at our annual Q Fair. This year, Q Fair will be held in the Mandeville Courtyard, below the walkway connecting the LGBT Resource Center and the Women's Center, on September 26, 2012 from 11:00a.m. - 12:00p.m.
Q Fair is an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to get connected to the LGBT Resource Center and the UC San Diego LGBT community and to learn more about the resources available to them. These include student organizations, offices, and programs that engage and educate the community as a whole. We hope that you will be able to table with us, greet our new community members, and connect with us on this wonderful day.
Please RSVP for Q Fair by submitting this form. If you have any questions, please contact the LGBT Resource Center at rainbow@ucsd.edu.
