Many parents expressed concern over the class sizes at GES (as well as other schools across the state). These class sizes are a result of budget cuts, and parents have the opportunity to learn more, and speak up for their students.

Good evening, this is Kris Vecchione, principal of Guilford Elementary, calling with a few important announcements for the week of September 2nd.
We want to thank each of you for helping make this a great first week of school here at GES!
 Labor Day Holiday:
Just a reminder that there is no school on Monday, September 1st in honor of the Labor Day Holiday. We look forward to seeing you back at school on Tuesday, in the building and headed to your classrooms by 7:40a.m. since teachers must mark all students tardy who arrive after 7:45. Fall Fundraiser Packets:
 Fundraiser packets came home last Thursday. The proceeds from this fundraiser will help support the reading programs here at GES. Please read through the information and see what exciting items are for sale this year.  E-communication: Please make sure you have signed up to receive our weekly electonic newsletter that includes the weekly message from the prinicpal, upcoming events and other important information about ges. Spirit Night at Menchies:
Stop in at Menchies on
Wed. Sept. 3rd between 5-8pm. Proceeds from Spirit Night benefit the students at GES.
