GES PTA funding
and what it is used for

The GES PTA
provides funding for different events including the Multicultural Festival, Black History Month, Field Day, the PAWS Behavioral Program and other programs based on the PTA budget, funding and approval of the General Membership Body.
Funding for the new and continued programs, comes from fundraisers, shop and support, and donations. We could not provide the resources without your help. Thank you GES family and community.
The PTA budget is always available online (updated on a monthly basis) for your review.

Weekly Connect Ed

Good evening, this is Kris Vecchione, principal of Guilford Elementary, calling with a few important announcements for the week of January 20th.
WOW! Many of you have already started to sell many items for our school fundraiser and we want to thank you greatly! We are raising money for special programs at our school including our Multicultural and Black History Month celebrations, our quarterly PAWS celebrations which reward great citizenship behaviors, much needed educational tools, and other supplies for our school. Please PARTNER with us and help us to make this the best fundraiser ever at GES! There are great prizes for selling items and we are excited about how this will help our school!
 Upcoming Holidays and Teacher Workdays Please note that the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday will be observed tomorrow, Monday, January 20th and there is no school. In addition to this holiday, there are two back  to back teacher workdays and no school on Thursday, January 23rd and Friday, January 24th. Students will only be in school on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Thank you and have a great evening!

- 1 minute spent reading = 1 mile traveled
- Each individual student has been challenged to read 3114 minutes
- You may count time spent reading books, eBooks, newspapers, magazines & online Internet articles.
