Good evening!  This is Kris Vecchione, principal of Guilford Elementary, calling with a few important announcements for the week of October 21st.

Please don't forget that students must be in the classroom by 7:45 am or they will be marked tardy. Please aim to have your child at school by 7:40 am so that they have enough time to walk to class. If you arrive at 7:45 am please know that it is Guilford County Policy that when students are tardy, parents must visit the front office and check their child in for the day.

Student Check-Out:  Parents, we need your help in making the last part of the school day as calm and safe as possible.  If you need to check your child out early, please help the teachers by doing so before 2:00pm.   Otherwise, please wait until dismissal time.  This will help them more than you know!

Book Fair Opening:  The theme for this year's Fall Book Fair has an Egyptian flair!  Come join the "Reading Oasis!  It's a cool place to discover hot books. Our Book Fair will open on Monday, October 21st and will run through Friday, October 25th
