 A message from the Principal Ms. Kris Vecchione
|
 First let me remind you that Monday is a holiday and we will begin school this coming week on Tues, Sept. 3rd. We hope that you have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!
Don't forget that school starts at 7:45 AM which means that we would like for all of our students to be in class no later than 7:45 am in order to be fully prepared for the day.
If your child participated in the summer reading challenge, please be reminded that on Wednesday, September 4th, the Summer Reading Roadmaps are due.
The PTA fundraiser started Friday. Your child should have brought a fundraiser packet home with all of the important information. More details will be coming soon! (see below)
We also would like to thank you for your support and patience as we have worked diligently with our transportation department to work out any transportation issues. Please know that your child's safety is our number one
 priority! If you have any concerns please report them to the front office or a teacher and ask for them to be passed along to the administration, Ms. Vecchione or Mr. McMillan, so that we can promptly begin working with transportation to resolve the issue within the same day.

 Fall 2013 Catalog Fundraiser until Sept. 24
|
We have kicked off our Fall Campaign Fundraiser. We need your efforts and participation to reach our goal. These funds will be used to build our classroom libraries, start a reading buddies program, and more fun and exciting events for our students. Every penny.... Every Dollar.... we raise will go to benefit the children. If Everyone sells just 10 items we can reach our goal.
Please only turn in money on Tuesdays.
Turn in dates- Sept. 3, 10, 17 and 24
You can also order online, or have family members order online. As long as the student's name has been entered, it will count to the total orders for that student.

We had our first "PAWS" Celebration- Ask your child what "PAWS" Means?
One student from each grade had the opportunity to spin the prize wheel during the assembly on Friday.
We also got to see the teachers dance !
