A message from the Principal
Ms. Kris Vecchione

Thank you for an amazing first day.  We are

honored to have your child as our student and we know we will have a great year.  In the event you need something, please don't hesitate to ask.  We are here to make this a great year for your child.

We want the very best for your child and we know that there are a few things that can make a huge difference in his or her education.

First, everyone should learn on a full tummy - so we are pleased to let you know that we now offer free breakfast to all students.  We only ask that your child is here on time in order to receive breakfast of his or her choice.

Second, we know that students who are well rested
and well prepared do better than those who are not.  Part of being prepared is being in class with enough time to unpack and get settled so that they are ready for the day.

Please ensure that your child is on campus at 7:40 am so that they are in class on time when the tardy bell rings at 7:45 am.

Also, here are a few reminders about morning arrival and afternoon dismissal:

1.       As a courtesy to parents, we allow students to be dropped off as early as 7:00 a.m.

 2.      Between 7:00 am  and 7:35 am, students

may wait with friends in the gym or go to the cafeteria to eat breakfast, but not visit the classroom yet due to supervision and safety reasons.

3.       We invite you to be a part of our school community and love for you to be in the building.

Walking Your Child to Class:

At 7:35 am you are welcome to walk your child to class.   We ask that you not do this before 7:35 am as teachers may not be in their classrooms until 7:35 am.

Car Riders:

4.       If your child is a car rider and you would rather not walk them in, please pull all the way around the circle drive and off-load, instead of off-loading in the parking lot.

5.       The only way to keep the traffic flow moving at a steady rate is to move a large group of cars simultaneously.  If you are crossing the traffic, please wait until the traffic flow is stopped.

6.       If your child is an afternoon car rider, please note that our school-wide dismissal time this year is 2:25 pm and car riders will not exit the building until 2:30 pm

7.       If your child is a bus rider, buses will leave campus at 2:35

Parents please also remember that if you received a care plan or medication authorization form from our school nurse, please return this as soon as possible so we can care for your child at school.

Thank you so much for your outstanding support!  We love having you partner with us!
