From the Desk of our Principal: Ms. Kris Vecchione
Written Version of Connect Ed From Ms. Kris Vecchione for Week of May 27, 2013
  • Our yearbooks are on sale for $20.   Please get yours today before they sell out!
  • Don't forget that tomorrow, Monday May 27th, we will observe Memorial Day in order to honor those who have lost their lives as service men or women.  We would like to express our gratitude to any of our Guilford Elementary family members who serve our country in the Armed Forces.  Thank you for your service!

We also will have our End of Grade Tests this week.  We will have our Reading Test on Wednesday and Math Test on Thursday. Here are a few tips for a successful test day:
  • Encourage your child to get a good night's rest on the days leading up to the test.
  • Provide a nutritious breakfast each morning.
  • Minimize outside activities during testing week.
  • Set the alarm a little early each morning so all is calm in the house.
  • And last, be sure to give your child a hug and tell them you believe in them!

Please come out Friday night to Cheetah Fest from 5:30-7:30 pm.  It is only $3.00 to participate in all games and bounce houses.  We will have a blast!
Preparing for EOG's

3rd-5th Grade will be taking Math and Reading EOG's the week of May 28th.

Please remind your child of the importance of getting a good night's rest and eating at healthy breakfast as they take these important tests.
