Accelerated Reader at GES
|
One way we encourage reading is through the Accelerated Reader (AR) program. Students earn points to spend at the AR store each quarter.
Students can read and take tests on any AR books that are on their level,
- Tests can only be taken at school, but parents can view the AR list and assigned levels by clicking here.

Welcome you to 2013 at Guilford Elementary! We are so happy to see all of our students returning today, Thursday, January 3rd and we hope it has been a wonderful break for all of your families.
- Please help us kick off a new calendar year with purpose! We are still having our attendance competitions. Don't forget that school starts at 7:45 so let's all wake up a few minutes earlier and set a new goal to be the class with the least tardies and absences!
- Next week on Tuesday, January 8th, join us for our Skate Night fund raiser! It's lots of fun and great exercise.

Did you get new electronics, ink cartridges, or other stuff over the winter break!

Did you get a new cell phone, new cameras, or other electronics over the winter break.
Instead of throwing the old away, send them in and recycle through GES. We recycle electronics, laser and regular ink cartridges,
For every item GES sends in, we earn points to purchase items to use in our classrooms and help GES continue to strive for excellence.
