IDEA and FIF Reminders

All faculty: Please take a few minutes to complete an IDEA FIF for those sections you will be administering the IDEA Student Evaluations. The FIF's need to be done by Dec. 14.

In order to be included in the end-of-term processing, all completed packets must be returned to AQU 319 no later than end of day Monday, Dec. 17.

All packets to be processed must have a completed FIF (either completed with the form and pencil or completed electronically). If you have any questions, please contact Julie Seykora (jmseykora@stthomas.edu) or by phone x26638.

Graduate Program Coordinators:

If any of your December graduates do not plan to attend the spring commencement ceremony, please enter NP (not participating) in SHADEGR for those graduates. You will have until January 25, 2013 to enter this information. After that date, please contact Barbara Rath if you need to change a December graduate's participation code to NP.

Please also review SHADIPL to ensure your December graduates' diploma names have populated and are accurate.

In addition to viewing your GTS reports in SharePoint, you may want to look at the Spring 2013 Commencement - Graduate Proofing report to get a snapshot of what information may need updating in SHADIPL and to review each student's Commencement Status.

Updates to Course Catalog and Weekly Section Data Integrity Reports

The Course Catalog Report on SharePoint now includes schedule type workload data from the Banner SCACRSE form to assist department coordinators in identifying courses which are missing workload data. Coordinators may encounter issues in SSASECT when setting up adjunct faculty contacts if this data is not in Banner Catalog.

The Weekly Section Data Integrity Reports now also include reports for Fall 2013 and J-term 2014. Please use these reports to review and make corrections to sections.

The Quick Links in the left pane of this newsletter provide access to the reports. Please contact Lori Seavers at seav2783@stthomas.edu if you have questions or would like more information.
