Dear St. Joseph's RCS Families,
Welcome to December everyone. The second Sunday of Advent has passed and the first rehearsal of the Christmas Pageant is complete. I know the students, teachers, and you are working hard to prepare for this. I have to say I was very impressed with how smooth today's run through went, your children amaze me in so many ways! Our performance is fast approaching, and will be held next Tuesday, December 15th. Please take any opportunity you can to practice singing the song assigned to your child's class. Please refer to the list below for questions.

We are all be focusing on improving our math abilities and performance. I hope the ideas I shared and the website can be helpful. If you missed them, you can find these suggestions in last week's newsletter and the website I shared
HERE. With a common focus, we can make extraordinary gains!
STUDY THOSE MATH FACTS! Re-enrollment will open this week for students returning for the 2016-2017 school year. Please look for an email notifying you the re-enrollment window has opened.
I hope that all of you are working with me on developing a growth mindset. I shared with you last week that this means that you believe that you can always better yourself; mind, body, and spirit. I also shared that I will be running a Half-Ironman at the beginning of next school year. I will be swimming, biking, and running. Over the remainder of the year I will share some of my training with you through
Mr. Hooker's Math and Fitness Challenge. Any student that figures out the answer each week can come to me to get a prize from my prize box. I'll also give prizes to students that create their own math and fitness problem based on their own exercise.
Here is this week's challenge.
