From the Principal's Office
Dear St. Joseph's RCS Families,

First, let me say how excited I am for the 2015-2016 school year! I am very optimistic for the joys to come! As usual, St. Joseph's RCS has had a lot going on this summer. We have had many updates and a few changes over the summer. The first change that occurred was the development of our Principal and Assistant Principal administrative team. We are very excited about this new chapter at St. Joseph's RCS and we're looking forward to sharing it with all of the school community!

Over the summer St. Joseph's RCS has had many updates, thanks to our volunteers and some outside contracting. As you return this year, you will notice that the middle school hallway has new lockers installed for all of our middle school students! Additionally, you will notice that the blinds in every classroom have been replaced. Thank you to last year's 8th grade class gift and other donations that made this possible. Another great improvement you will notice are the new floors in the 6th grade and Kindergarten homerooms. As we work our way throughout the school, we can now check off two more classrooms, and the middle school side of the building is complete!

On the outside of the school, our great improvement this summer was the last portion of the ROOF has been replaced! We are very excited to have this project finished, and we cannot express our gratitude enough for everyone's donations, fundraising, and the $48,000 from last year's Aging Schools Grant

In Addition to the past years improvements, we are excited to have some new faces on our staff this year. We added 5 new staff members over the summer, and they are all very excited to begin their first year here with the St. Joseph's RCS community. These staff members include

Jennifer Flores (Front Office Secretary), Brenda Visioli (1st Grade), Sherry Baade (5th Grade), John DiGiovanni (Advanced Math M/S), and Andy House (Social Studies M/S). Please join me as we welcome them to our school community!

This summer St. Joseph's RCS also launched our new website www.stjosrcs.org You can still access this the same way through the churches website, or you can type in the website address to your web browser. The 2015-16 School Calendar and School Handbook is posted here. If you're looking for us on social media you can access our Facebook page and twitter handle, @StJosephsRCS on the new school website. If you haven't done so yet, please like us on Facebook and follow us on twitter!

Please plan on attending one of our Back to School Nights to receive important information, updates, and changes for the 2015-16 school year, as well as getting to talk with your child's(children) teacher(s).
