Reiki volunteers are needed by two organizations that offer free Reiki sessions to people!
First Prebyterian Church in Bend offers Reiki Healing Prayer Sessions every Monday at 11am and 1230pm. Two Reiki practitioners are needed for each time period for Safe Church policy. You may be working together on one person or each be working with an individual in the Contemplative Prayer room.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Elizabeth Stephans in Care Ministries for more information at 541-382-4401. You can call this same number to sign-up for a session. The church office is open Monday - Thursday, 9am-4pm.
The second organization looking for Reiki Volunteers is St Charles Oncology Center. This program has several volunteers who are "snow birds" and needs people to give Reiki following their standardized protocol in both Bend and Redmond. Volunteers work in pairs here as well for the hospital's safety policy. Please contact Jan McDonald, LMT the Oncology Massage and Reiki Program Coordinator at 541-705-6715 or Marian Boileau RN the Integrative Therapies Patient Services Manager at 541-706-2904 for more information.
Volunteer wise, Healing Journey Options has given $1200 in assistance to those who have limited ability to pay for Reiki sessions. The Pay It Forward program has accounted for $400 of this total this year.

2015 Holy Fire Reiki Classes Posted!
The powerful and gentle love, light, grace and compassion of Holy Fire Reiki� continues to help me learn, heal and grow in new ways! Cultivate your Reiki ability for self-care & caring for others you love through taking a Holy Fire Reiki� class.
5 or 6 Day Holy Fire Reiki I & II + ART/Master Option
In 2015 I will be teaching a 5 or 6 day Reiki Membership Association (RMA) qualifying Holy Fire Reiki Training in Spokane, WA; West Fargo, ND and Bend, OR.
These are designed for students who have been practicing for at least 6 months at the Reiki II level or Reiki Masters who want to become Professional members of the Reiki Membership Association and have not taken these classes from an ICRT Licensed Reiki Master Teacher.
The 5 or 6 day back to back Holy Fire Reiki I & II plus ART/Master option is offered for the convenience of students wanting to pursue professional status in the RMA. For more information on the RMA through the ICRT and its benefits please see: http://www.reikimembership.com

Labyrinth Workshop in Redmond
Eighteen people joined us for the Labyrinth and Prayer workshop at Community Presbyterian Church last Saturday morning!
The walk was on my portable 7-circuit focus labyrinth - a hybrid cross between the classical 7-circuit and the Chartres 11-circuit designs.
