After 10 days of general maintenance in Maumere, WAOW will lift anchor in a few days to navigate towards the Forgotten Islands. An exceptional cruise with both the discovery of exploratory dive sites and authentic islands.

New Itinerary
SANGIHE - Pearls of the North
From the 18th to 29th of March, 2017, WAOW will take you on a voyage of discovery to the Islands of Sangihe, in the very North of the Celebes Islands. A unique itinerary which allows us to combine firstly the Lembeh Straits, the Bangka Islandsand the celebrated Bunaken National Park, as the more well-known areas.
However, the main attraction on this cruise resides in the exploration of the volcanic sites rarely visited like Nenung(muck, wreck and wall dives), Tagulandang-Ruang (ancient lava flows covered in life), Biaro (pinnacles and reefs on black sands), Siau and its still active volcano Karangetang at 1827 meters (recent lava flows and underwater hot sources), and finally culminating in the underwater volcano "Mahangetang". Having appeared and disappeared several times over the past centuries, the volcano now tops at a depth of 3-4 meters from the surface offering seascapes of rocks and hot black sands animated by the flow of gas bubbles.

Special Anniversary Evening
For those of you in Switzerland and France, open your calendar. To celebrate 5 years of navigating around the Indonesian Archipelago, our team invites you for a special evening on November 18th 2016, at Moulin en Clarens, in the Canton of Vaud (VD), not far from Nyon and Lake Geneva.
During this evening we will have the pleasure of presenting a retrospective of the key moments during the beautiful adventure of the past years, to present to you the new itineraries and program for 2019, but also simply to share some time with you with both some music and a glass in hand. We will let you know more during the next newsletter.

Misool, Triton Bay & Raja Ampat

A festival of whale sharks awaits you in Cenderawasih Bay. After three successful cruises in 2015, WAOW returns again in January 2017 to this area in the North of West Papua.
