EEO continues to provide critically needed special education /literacy services to the children of Harbour Island and Eleuthera.
Accomplishments this year:
- Centers in Operation - 6 (within public schools on HI and EL)
- EEO Students - 157
- After School Program - 1
- Teacher /Parent Workshops- 2
- Hearing screening test performed - 123 students (27 students recommended to Audiologist)
- 9 students out of 27 students that failed last years screening, passed this year!
- Mainstreamed students- 22
EEO continues to collaborate with the government Ministry of Education and other local non-profits organizations to expand special needs services to all the Family Islands.
