About desLibris (pronounced "day-LEE-bris")

desLibris is a discovery site for Canadian books and documents. On the public site, over 50,000 titles are presented in preview form along with links to publisher sites. Libraries may subscribe to desLibris to give patrons and users access to the full content. The titles on desLibris are also available to library users through Canadian Electronic Library on the ebrary platform. 

Documents
Our editors monitor the sites of thousands of public agencies on a regular basis, harvesting publications of general and lasting reference value for inclusion in the service.

Books
Canadian publishers submit new books for exposure through our services, which currently provide over 18,000 titles to libraries.

This is the first issue of a monthly newsletter that will highlight a few of the hundreds of new titles appearing in desLibris every month. To view a title in desLibris, click on the cover. Section headings are the Dewey subject headings used in the MARC record created for each title.
